Then it’s time to step away from your laptop and treat yourself. Krug Festival – Into The Wild is a luxurious festival experience without the hassle; it’s a single day, transfers are provided back to London, it’s set in the grounds of an eighteenth-century heritage estate and there isn’t a tent in sight. More than just a festival, Krug Festival – Into The Wild is where music, pleasure and luxury crash beautifully together, combining sumptuously inventive food cooked on 10ft open pit fires by maverick chef Francis Mallmann and paired with free-flowing Krug champagne. Guests will be treated to a curated artist showcase from Mahogany Sessions, all offset by the English countryside and intimate setting of The Grange, Hampshire.
| | Pairing the freedom of the wilderness with the elegance of Krug, guests will be whisked away to experience an immersive dinner by renowned Argentine chef Francis Mallmann. Drawing on his Patagonian heritage, he brings his signature open-fire cooking style to the event; roasting, smoking and charring his way through three courses using trenches, pits and hand-made domes. Each course will be served in three separate locations around the estate, and paired with a specific Krug; Grande Cuvée, Rosé and Vintage 2002 (#UJLoves).
After dinner, explore the grounds with its classical facades, Greek-revival columns and sprawling lawns – which will be illuminated by ten-foot-high bonfires. Of course, a good festival wouldn’t be complete without a stand-out soundtrack, which will be provided by innovative music platform Mahogany. Championing emerging, cutting-edge talent, Mahogany has selected Nottingham singer-songwriter Ady Suleiman, London-based contemporary soul talent JONES and the rich, soulful beats of Jacob Banks to take diners on an audio journey through each space.
