| | | Calling All Creators | | Sponsored Email | | You’ve probably heard of WeWork – the communal workspaces taking over the globe – but they’re really a little bit more than that. It’s all about inspiration and connectivity: think launches with Mark Ronson and YoYo, panels with industry experts and now they’re about to help other innovators with a new fund for creatives.
The Creator Awards is a global celebration of independent thinking and fresh ideas. Artists, startups, nonprofits – whatever you are, if you have an idea, you can apply. There are three tiers (depending on where you’re at with your idea), and you can apply online with a video pitch. Time to get those thinking caps on.
To launch the fund in the UK, WeWork are hosting a series of cocktails and conversations with leading innovators. They’ve already had KERB’s Petra Barren, Henry Holland and Wired Associate Editor Rowland Manthorpe, and in the coming weeks they’re hosting SBTV’s Jamal Edwards and The Serpentine Gallery’s Amal Khalaf.
So what are you waiting for? Think about this: WeWork began in 2010 and now they’re awarding $20 million. Those ideas are worth something – get yours out there, and get the support it needs.
