Whether you’re an aficionado or a novice, or just looking for a great night out, head to The Blend – Chivas Regal’s exclusive bar in Shoreditch – for an Art of Blending session.
Each 45-minute experience starts off with a tasting, where master blenders will guide you on what makes a stand-out whisky tick. Then it’s down to you to try your own: up the citrus notes, go for floral, or choose something with someone else in mind. Your one-off bottle is then packaged up to take home – we say gift it to a whisky-lover for Christmas, or if it’s really good, keep it all for yourself.
After the session, it’s time to enjoy the Blend Bar itself, with cocktails curated by Rhys Wilson of Happiness Forgets, DJ sets from 6-9pm from the likes of Lou Hayter and Donna Leake, and restaurant residencies for the Friday happy hour sessions from Sub Cult and Le Bab.
