| | …and hopefully, soon, some sand too. We’re thinking of this week and next as the road to Easter… but there’s lots to do before then. Right now, we have Brat on the hit list, and we keep meaning to check out the food offering at P. Franco too. As for bars, Bar Three really does sound like the magic number. We’ll also be checking out the sakura season celebrations at some of the big wigs across town (Zuma, Sake no Hana) and for events, it’s all eyes on Miami for WMC, even if we’re watching from afar this year. Lastly, keep an eye on our Insta Stories this week if you want some slope-side insight from our upcoming Verbier trip with Grey Goose – we’ve never been, so any any tips are welcome. Other than that, stay warm!

| | Byredo New York | | Out of the Ordinary | | Retail, but not as you know it | | Concept is key for survival in Y2K retail, and the more experiential and theatrical, the better. #UJLoves exploring Browns East, The Websters (MIA/NYC) and Dover Street Markets the world over – curated collections and multi-disciplinary approaches are the way forward. This week we’re looking at the new spaces on our radar, with Hostem, Byredo and a newcomer from Colette’s crew.

| | Stratford Manhattan Loft Garden | | New Openings | | Dabbous 2.0 and more | | Some big names have got new projects in the works, and it’s making us very excited for the coming months. First things first: Ollie Dabbous’s new restaurant HIDE is set to open next month, and it’s sounding seriously James Bond-esque. Expect fine dining spread over three impressive floors comprising a bakery, dining room, bar, and a wine cellar. Oh, and there’s a lift which will take you and your car to the private dining room. No big deal. If you’re after something more low-key, Soho House are turning the former Soho Kitchen and Bar into a Cecconi’s Pizza Bar– carbs and cocktails ahoy! Also, we’ve just had news that Patrick Powell of Chiltern is going to take up residence in the huge new Manhattan Loft Gardens development in Stratford. Keep an eye on his Instagram for updates.

| | Hot Since 82 | | We love Daley (HS82)! Catch him with La Fleur and Eats Everything on 31st March when he brings his Labyrinth party to Tobacco Dock. We caught up with him just before the event to find out his fave spots in London and Ibiza.
| | Where do you love to eat when you're in Ibiza? Wild Beets in Santa Gertrudis, a great hidden gem serving up raw, vegan eats.
And what's your favourite restaurant when in London? I’m a big fan of Yotam Ottolenghi – his restaurants have great Israeli wine. I’ve got loads of his cookbooks at home, too.
Where do you like to party in Ibiza? I’ve been going for Circoloco for many years which is always fun!
