| | …long weekend – the sun truly does bring out the best in us – it’s back to the grind. At UJ we have health on the brain (retox, detox, repeat), and seemingly the rest of London does, too. This weekend (11th-13th May) sees Balance Festival, where you’ll find all of wellbeing’s finest. Also coming up from 23rd-24th June is Sweatlife, Lululemon’s two-day-long fitness fest. With all this in mind, today we’ve brought you a round-up of what’s on our fit-dar. Memberships are out, and pay-as-you-go studios and retreats are in. Speaking of, if you know of any great fitness retreats (especially in Europe), let us know! And for a retox? Some of the best things we’ve spotted on menus recently include Neptune’s caviar waffles, temper Covent Garden’s thin, crispy bar pizza with burrata, and olive oil ice cream at The Petersham, which is divine. If you’re up for a day-to-night rave, earmark 19th May for Skream, PBR, Harvey, Peggy G and Hot Chip at Printworks and of course the Circoloco opening at DC10 on 21st May. Enjoy the short week!

| | Where's your go to for healthy food in London? I don’t know if it’s really classed as healthy, but The Spread Eagle is vegan and it’s VERY tasty!
Favourite track to get you pumped? In the sunshine it’s Ayzmuth – Jazz Carnival, but if I ever manage to work out again it’ll be this LCD Soundsystem track.
And where do you go for some indulgence? Keu on Old St. The duck baguettes are my weakness!
