| | …as per usual, we’ve got food on the brain (well, that and whether installing air conditioning would be a good investment at this point). This week we’re looking at some new spots that are blurring the boundaries, exploring the capital, one pizza at a time, and rounding up our favourite restaurants for a post-exhibition lunch. If you’re in NYC this weekend, make sure you get a pass for Panorama, and if you’re in LDN, don’t miss St James’s Wine Car Boot on Saturday, which sounds like our kind of car boot sale!

| | Pi Battersea | | The Italian New Wave | | Time to carb it up again | | Pasta was London’s modus operandi for 2017, but for 2018, we’re seeing a lot of new pizza. Former Natoora director Vittorio Maschio opens Manifesto Pizza in Battersea this week- it’s all about the biga-style dough technique and super seasonal toppings. Also in south London, don’t miss Pi’s whopping 20-inch pizzas – bring a crew and split between a crowd! And for August, Yard Sale Pizza will host Frank Pinello (head chef of Best Pizza, Brooklyn), adding his old school New York-style pizza to the menu for the month, and he’ll be running a masterclass too – book in here.

| | Lottie Campbell | | As co-founder of Hackney’s new multidisciplinary hotspot Night Tales, we know Lottie Campbell has her knowledge of the capital down. Keep reading to discover her favourite places in the city.
| | Where's your favourite Hackney haunt? Off Broadway – it’s really low key but it’s the bar I keep going back to for quality drinks and lovely ambience. You can count on this place any day of the week and that’s quite hard to come by.
Who is your chef to watch right now? It’s got to be Tom Brown. He used to be the head chef of Outlaw’s at The Capital before opening his own restaurant Cornerstone, in Hackney Wick a few months ago. It’s amazing to see quality food like this available in the area – that wasn’t the case a few years ago.
What's your all time favourite restaurant in London? Royal China Club – I’m obsessed with dumplings and this is dim sum at its finest. The steamed lobster dumpling in rice wine sauce is too delicious to try to explain in words.
