Underground fashion deep in E8
LN-CC has a thriving online business with a cult global following but there is nothing quite like the (sur)real experience of heading to the store in Dalston. Designed by the artist Gary Card, a futuristic wooden tunnel segues into themed ‘pods’ containing a mixture of men’s and women’s fashion from the avant-garde of Ann Demeulemeester to the deconstructed silhouettes of Yohji Yamamoto. There are also hard to find Japanese brands such as SASQUATCHfabrix, Uru and Unused, as well as rare books and records to browse. Oh, and an achingly hip club space.
