Heathrow T5 - Take Off
Flying economy used to mean less leg-room and plastic cutlery - not ideal, but bearable. Now budget travel means we're paying extra for hold luggage on EasyJet, and BMI are trying to scrounge money for the privilege of reserving a window seat.
Time to move on up, and if you're paying through the nose for comfort in the air, you should damn well expect more than a dusty waiting room seat on the ground and some cling-filmed sandwiches.
The BA Galleries' lounges are a cross between private members clubs and a boutique hotel, featuring everything from shower rooms, spas, concierge service, a private cinema, wine galleries, and a gold leaf covered bar, all designed to exacting standards by Davies & Baron. UJ especially loves the private sleep cabanas with infinity bathrooms - so good you might just miss your flight.
