Future Faces of Fashion
Unbridled creativity, backstage panic, celebrity judges and a jam-packed audience can only mean one thing; Graduate Fashion Week. Apart from the main GFW Show at Earl’s Court, fashion students nationwide showed their final collections, from CSM to LCF. UJ casts an eye over the winners, the wackiness, and the ones to watch.
Central Saint Martins BA Fashion
Winner L’Oreal New Talent Award
Alithia Spuri-Zampetti - Amazing overgrown, layered head pieces and collars over sheer shirts and body-con ensembles.
Ones to Watch:
Craig Lawrence - Conceptual, Gareth-Pugh-esque knitwear.
Ingrid Hass - Ditsy floral print skirts and sweet country scene knitted tees.

Winner Collection of the Year:
Matthew Innett - Gingham printed, oversized quilted jackets and curvaceous skirts.
Ones to Watch:
Fiona Lewis - Acid bright, billowing ruffle dresses.
Rebekah Carpenter - Feminine, feather adorned panelled dresses and graceful blouses.

Winner River Island Gold Award:
Jessica Au (Ravensbourne College of Design & Communication) - Luminous, psychedelic floral prints in bright pinks, oranges and greens over pinstripe fabric.
Ones to Watch:
Craig Fellowes (University of Northampton) - Puffed out, sketched rooster and speckled egg print dresses
Sarah Kennedy (Northumbria University) - Folk inspired dresses and headscarves with marionette accessories.
