From 21st September – 28th January, Jean Michel Basquiat moves into the Barbican. It’s the first large-scale exhibition of the American artist’s work to ever hit the UK, showcasing a diverse range of over 100 pieces. The exhibition will largely focus on Basquiat’s thematic relationship with music, text, film and TV, showing some of his most famous works in a new light. Basquiat was one of the most acclaimed pioneers of the underground New York art scene, and this exhibition is a must-see. Make sure you book ahead.
