Don’t let film festival season pass you by – head to Hackney for some DIY fun on Sunday 8th October as Moth Club creates its own Canned Film Festival. The all-day event is presented by Deeper Into Movies, who have been pairing rare and hard-to-come-by films with cult classics on specially devoted film nights for the past year. For the festival, they’ve invited local film makers to submit their creations, whether it’s a music video, documentary, art film, or anything else that’s less than 10 minutes running length. And you don’t even need to pick up popcorn – they’ll be supplying pizza slices instead. Full programme to be announced.
