Carnaby Street launches a groundbreaking new retail concept with The Subculture Archives this summer. Bringing Britain’s sub and counterculture history to the iconic shopping street, the Archives showcase a collection of prints, craft and clothing selected from independent artists and photographers. When to visit? On Thursday 27th July, photographer Owen Harvey launches his guest exhibition focusing on the foundations of Mod culture in the UK, delving deeper into the progressive nature of the Mod movement. Stop by on Wednesdays from 1-2pm for a free lunchtime rave, or have a go on the Vendart vending machine, selling affordable subculture and counterculture art ranging from 90p to £25.
