Yamagoya’s Raindrop Cake

Food & Drink

This event has ended.

Looking for that perfect palate cleanser post-ramen? Fah Sundravorakul may have just the thing. The co-founder of Yamagoya has brought the raindrop cake to London for the first time, adding the new addition to the menu at his Shaftsbury Avenue ramen stop. Inspired by the cult Japanese dish, mizu shingen mochi, and made in the shape of a water droplet, Yamagoya’s recipe has been carefully developed to produce a crystal clear cake, made from special agar powder which can only be found in Japan.

Make sure you stop by early on in service as there are just 20 made each day.
