This season might be all about Stephen Jones and his upcoming V&A exhibtion, but he's not the only milliner making waves in the fashion industry. With an installation at On/Off to showcase his new collection, this former Creative Director at Tony & Guy, and winner of New Gen sponsorship is ready to reveal his wild side.

Describe your style in three words.
Crafted, Twisted, Tradition

What are the inspirations behind your collection for On|Off?
The CRUNCH! Safari. Natural Instincts. Natural Behaviour. Heightened Senses. Survival & Growth. Wild & Free. Impulsive Reactions. Hunting for pleasure.

What do you love about showing in London and how would you say it differentiates itself from other fashion capitals?
My Brand is very English. It is great to show in London. I am also very fortunate to show in other countries too, it is always different, always fun.

How do you think the fashion industry will hold up in the current economic climate?
Let’s see. Who can say?

What is your best kept fashion secret?

Now that would be telling, and then it wouldn’t be a secret anymore!
I have one I can impart. There is a shop in Devon, where I am from, called the Real McCoy. It’s the best place for vintage bits I have ever found, and I have shopped there for as long as I can remember.

What is one lesson you’re grateful to have learnt in your career?
Keep going, even after knock backs. It’s best to get back on that horse straight away!

One thing you wish more people knew about you.
I have no idea! If people take the time, they find out. I’m a simple person.

Career Highlight so far?
All of it. I have loved all of it.

What’s the first thing you’re going to do when Fashion Week is over?
Get some sleep. Then go out, get tired again! But I feel like I have a bit of social life back. There are lots of movies I would like to see.

Q: What does the future hold?
Lots of exciting things…….
