What makes a GREAT catwalk show?
When all the elements come together but starting from a strong -well balanced collection and through to the hair, make-up, styling, music, choice of models etc etc untill you end up with a totally GREAT complete statement.
Have you got packing for fashion week down to a fine art?
I have my whole look down to a fine art! As you get older running toooooo hard after the latest can be a bit OTT, so I have a style which gets up-dated and moved on. Fashion Week just means pushing the look a bit further . Oh and making sure I have a notebook and pen.
What will I be buying for AW 2007/08?
Well I'm afraid not much grey, however big it remains, as it does nothing for me, but I have already invested in some silver shoes. I would also like a black silk waistcoat to wear with velvet and wool coats and jackets.
Are you a goody bag or a good seat kind of man?
Well since so much of the goody bag stuff is girly I am very popular amongst my female friends after the shows. But to be serious; I am at a show to work so the better the seat the easier my job -it's that simple.
If you weren't doing this then what?
I have no idea! I only ever wanted to be in the fashion business and it has been very good to me; so I guess my answer would have to be my since next great love is opera can I please be an opera critic?
