Works of art from over 130 galleries, dealers and studio groups will be submitted and short listed by a panel of real judges - which last year included nurses, cabbies and CEOs - and then passed on to you, the 'Public Eye', to vote. The cash prize at stake is nothing to scoff at either - it will definitely put some meat on that starving artist's bod.

If filling out a ballot isn't enough to lure you to Battersea Park, there are original works of art (sculpture, painting and photographs) from the UK and abroad, all on sale for under £2,500.

Don't let dated art cramp your style - liberate yourself. Rip down that cheap college reprint that's been above your bed for years, and fill its space with a fresh new face.

You may not get a Tate original, but it definitely is a step in the right direction.
