5 Upper James Street, Carnaby | | We’ve always loved Daniel Reynolds’ work. A friend for over 20 years, Daniel moved to London in ‘99 to do an MA at Central Saint Martins in Fashion Design, specialising in print. Immediately upon graduation, he became a favourite of leading fashion houses in London and Paris including names like Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Chloé.
A relocation to New York City in 2008 saw him take on directorial and consultancy positions for household names like Diane von Furstenberg, Gap, The Row and The North Face.
Over lockdown, we watched as Daniel began populating his instagram account with bright, contemporary, large-scale pieces of art – we loved them immediately.
Daniel says that his experiences of being a part of the Midlands’ clubland and British house music scenes have inspired the beat and structures for this body of work.
Created from his house in the Catskills, Daniel has come back to his native home to launch his first major show, in partnership with us. There will be pieces of varying size and prices, as well as some limited-edition merch to mark this launch moment.
And we’d love you to come and see it.

| Daniel will be showing his collection at 5 Upper James Street tomorrow until 24 July, 11-6PM (12-6PM Sunday). Entrance is free; we hope to see you there.

DJ Fat Tony In Conversation With Michael Hennegan
I Don’t Take Requests
A Sunday Times bestseller, DJ Fat Tony’s book, I Don’t Take Requests relays the highs and lows of his exceptional life so far, as co-written by UJ friend and writer (ex-Sunday Times Style, ES, British GQ, 10 Magazine, Vogue.co.uk) Michael Hennegan.
Tony and Michael will be in conversation about the book for one night only, next Thursday 21 July at Daniel’s show.
There will be drinks by Mirabeau (rosé and rosé negronis), art by Daniel, a talk by DJ Fat Tony and Michael, and music afterwards.
