From Big Mama Group Paris (bars, food market, restaurants) comes this vibrant two-floor trattoria in the heart of Shoreditch. Circular booth seating and ’70s style furniture set the stage for what they call ‘an explosive menu that mixes old Italian classics, with simple products direct from 180 small producers in Italy.’ Dishes are hearty – think 10-level lasagna – and everything is homemade. It’s the drinks, though, that really caught our eye; fun glassware, negronis with truffle foam and a wine room with 50 Barolos from the best winemakers in Piemonte. Yes, please. They have house playlists and a pizza menu that runs til 2am on Thurs/Fri/Sat. Gloria!
