We’re not giving up summer yet. For this reason, we’ve asked Marc Fialip for his favourite Saint-Tropez spots. Just in case you can squeeze a last-minute break in…
My favourite restaurant in Saint-Tropez… For the summer season I particularly like La Petite Plage. Their menu was created by Michelin-starred chef Eric Frechon. They have the perfect location by the harbour, which can get lively in the evening.
To celebrate, I usually go to La Sauvageonne for really great family food with a party atmosphere. If you’re in the mood for dancing, this is a place you can stay all night.
For a sunset drink, I like to go to Les Salins, located at the end of Presqu’île de Saint-Tropez. It is a tiny beach, where it’s just you and the Mediterranean Sea. I often go here to enjoy cocktails by the water, it’s so peaceful.
To dance, it has to be the iconic Les Caves Du Roy. This club is usually where you’ll find all the celebrities who are here, and it is a part of Saint-Tropez history.
My favourite beach club is… I love Loulou – the food is great and it also has a really good music scene.
This year you must try Chotto Matte! This hidden gem is located within Hotel EPI 1959, along Pampelonne beach. The Nikkei cuisine here is delicious, and complements the restaurant’s unique setting. This is definitely the best summer spot. A must do.
I love Hotel Epi1959 because it’s been designed to feel like a home. Their history is incredible and has played such a unique role within Saint-Tropez. I feel so honoured to get the chance to be a part of their legacy.
The best thing about Saint-Tropez… is Saint-Tropez. It remains so special year after year.
