So, this is a big hotel. But sometimes, like at the end of a trip, that’s exactly what you need: somewhere where you can go to the gym, get a treatment, have money changed, use the ATM, have a (good) drink, get room service, raid your mini bar, have a celebratory weekend brunch, dine in a restaurant with crisp white tablecloths, and importantly, be a bit incognito. And that’s exactly what you’ll find here.
The Hotel
Set in the upscale San Isidro district, this 301-room hotel is a skyscraper, so ask for a room up high (they have 30 floors) so you can take the bright lights, big city in. You’re a two-minute walk from Zara, should you forget anything, and about a 15-minute Uber from the hip Barranco and Miraflores neighbourhoods. The exterior is slick and the interior is a well-oiled machine.
The Vibe
It’s busy in here. With escalators and conferences, well-known F&B spots, and even a takeaway café, there’s a definite bustle and constant flow of people, but the check-in desks keep things moving, and the central lobby offers a place to chill.
The Rooms
Rooms have the usual Westin amenities: robes, minibars, coffee machines, USB plugs/lightning chargers, walk-in closets, marble bathrooms, and toiletries made from white tea and aloe. Tubs allow for deep soaks, and you can request workout kit (equipment) should you want to borrow something.

Their restaurant, Maras, is a hotel highlight; slender and well-lit, it’s frequented by locals and guests alike, with terrace seating and extremely professional staff. Start with the flame-torched prawn carpaccio with black olives and garlic flakes, move onto fideua with mussels and octopus, and end with cheesecake with peanuts. All dishes are Peruvian with Mediterranean touches, and they have a global wine list with quite a few magnums, which is fun.
The hotel has a central bar in the lobby, which acts as a great end-of-day meeting spot, and a popular Prohibition era-inspired speakeasy, Alphonse Bar; make a reservation to get beyond the bookcase.
Breakfast is buffet-style at Market 770, with everything from fresh waffles and pancakes to noodles, soups, and sandwiches. They also have several local hot sauces and dips, bagels, cava and sweets – this really feels like a proper ‘brunch’.
Room service comes on a white tablecloth-clad rolling table and they can send you a menu over WhatsApp for ease.
They also have an Executive Club on the 29th floor with amazing views; it’s open from 6AM-10PM for meetings and quite private Club chilling.
Wellbeing
Voted the best city spa in South America, they have a thermal circuit that includes hot and cold plunge pools – a great way to wake up – as well as a steam room, jacuzzis, and aromatherapy showers. They also have a salon with reasonable manicures and pedicures, and 17 rooms for treatments. Their fitness studio is a definite highlight, as it has pretty much anything you could want. If you’ve been travelling for a while, access to a foam roller (surprising how few hotels with gyms have one) and a PT means a lot!

You’re about a 10-minute taxi away from some independent shops and restaurants. Osaka is a vibey Japanese spot with outdoor seating, and the well-known Astrid y Gastón is nearby, too. The hotel also has a gift shop for snacks and souvenirs, and they can help arrange anything you might need with their 24-hour concierge, also available via WhatsApp.
