After managing to get all of Soho addicted to steam buns, BAO launch their brand new split-level restaurant XU. Compiled of a cocktail bar, Taiwanese tea bar and private dining space, as well as a 76-cover restaurant, XU marks a distinct new direction for the trio. If you’re sitting down to eat, expect to be immersed in Taiwanese cuisine with dishes that will also take inspiration from the team’s travels to mainland China. Enticing menus aside, it’s tea that takes the centre stage. XU will be serving rare and competition level tea leaves, inspired by Erchen’s grandfather’s love of the elegant loose leaf teas commonly drunk in his native Taiwan.
