The Lowdown
From long-time collaborators Jason Catifeoglou (myhotels group, IHG, The Zetter, Grain Store & The Zetter Townhouses), Andreas Thrasyvoulou (myhotels group) and Steph Thrasyvoulou comes The Pilgrm.
The Facts
Considered a re-interpretation of the traditional hotel, design and comfort are key. And after a multi-million pound renovation, The Pilgrm is ready to do things differently. Guests check in online, prior to arrival, and Catifeoglou et al have switched out a traditional lobby for a neighbourhood cafe. The lounge upstairs includes a relaxed, open kitchen and bar, while the bedrooms feature reclaimed and restored furnishings, from 200-year-old mahogany parquet floors to original cast iron radiators, offset by a Tom Dixon ‘cloud carpet’. The bedrooms also include organic mattresses handmade in Devon, 100% Egyptian cotton sheets as well as those all-important Marshall speakers.
