Founded by husband and wife duo Javvy M Royle and Frieda Gormley, House of Hackney is the antithesis of the minimal furniture trend. Specialising in punchy prints and bold colour, their pieces have a vintage feel without being too kitsch. They specialise in wallpaper and fabric (if you really want to make a statement), but their Shoreditch flagship has home accessories and furniture, too.
