It’s a feat if you know your own corner of London well, let alone any of the hidden parts, but Open House is the best day of the year to plan an adventure with friends, and it’s also a great excuse to see a totally new part of town. Whether you’re into booking in to your favourite sites weeks in advance, or just seeing where the day takes you, Open House is a great excuse to shine a new light on the architecture and history of London that’s right under our noses, or permanently above our heads. 800 venues that aren’t normally open to the public throw open their doors, and we love the fact you also get to speak to the people that occupy, run, or live in these locations – come armed with questions, they’ve heard it all anyway!
