There’re are few corners of the earth London’s food scene doesn’t touch, but we rarely hear from Galicia, and a new supper club series is set to change that. Pilgrim, the brainchild behind a group of friends including the former head chef of Mac & Wild, Sheekey’s and The Wolseley, will begin as a series of pop-ups this winter, before opening their restaurant and sherry bar in early 2018. The six course tasting menu mirrors the Camino pilgrimage, tracing the towns and cities found along the way. Meat and seafood is the main focus, with pivotal dishes including a charcoal talo with Iberico pork short rib and a play on Galicia’s famous Pulpo al feira. Wine and sherry pairings will also be available to add to your dinner, or pick your way through the bar for some surprises. Get on the trail!
