Bethnal Green favourites Lucky and Joy will be returning to the neighbourhood to celebrate Chinese New Year for four nights this week. True to form, they’ll be serving up a menu of bold and flavour-packed plates (alongside a few Chinese New Year specials including Longevity noodles, guaranteeing eaters a prosperous year). Come alone, and you can order from the tick box menu, or come in a group and order from the family-style sharing and banquet menus (we’re betting whole suckling pig with plum sauce, bao buns and pickles will make an impressive centrepiece). Pair up with house cocktails and see in the Year of the Dog in style.
