If you collided a Yeezy presentation with an Adam Curtis documentary and added in Four Tet for the soundtrack, you’d come close to something like Just Jam. A live music event streamed from the underground and on to the internet, when founders Tim and Barry started out, Just Jam changed the way YouTube was used, revolutionising musical streaming. On Saturday 17th March they’re headed to the Barbican with an audiovisual playground of vesicle lo-fi graphics, breakneck MCs, sax and basslines. They’ll be showcasing their recent discoveries, with Kamaal Williams, NTS regular Mex, Naira Marley and YGG among a huge roster of grime and genre-agnostic artists set to perform.
