If you haven’t seen the line-up for Red Bull’s Music Odyssey, they’ve booked in six boats to set sail on the Thames, taking its crew members on one epic voyage through underground British music culture. No, we’re not usually ones for boat parties in London either, but the line-ups and artist curation on these sound so good, we can’t resist! Choose your party and choose your boat: each one works as a mini-adventure into a specific underground scene, so there’s Larry Heard and Jocelyn Brown on the Forever Dancer boat (with Denis Sulta as captain), Kamaal Williams and Moses Boyd for broken beats and rare grooves with the new jazz renaissance crew and the Wine Up – celebrating transatlantic dance hall, with Lisa Mercedez, Jubilee and Swing Ting – save us a seat! Tickets are almost entirely sold out – there are after party tickets up for grabs, act quick though!
