Coal Office

Tom Dixon’s Coal Office is a collaboration with chef Assaf Granit (The Palomar, The Barbary), taking place across two floors of the designer’s Coal Drops Yard studio site (and make time to visit the rest of the site, which acts a physical of Tom’s design practice). As for the restaurant, the décor is undeniably Dixon (luxe, exposed, minimalist and decorative), Assif’s trademark humour is seen peppering the menus (fattoush is listed as “we tried not to!”), and many dishes are designed for sharing, family style. We’re aiming to be regulars before the year’s out.
