Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama’s work spans seven decades and yet her intensely Instagrammable sculptures and installations still continue to influence artists and fans the world over. Influenced by Surrealism, Minimalism, Pop Art and the Zero movements, Yayoi’s work resists easy classification. She’ll return to Victoria Miro gallery this October, bringing with her a brand new version of her Infinity Mirror Room and giving gallery guests the sensation of standing in an endless room filled with paper lanterns. Tickets for the exhibition are on sale now – it’s free but you’ll need to book a timed slot, and if the popularity of her New York show last year is anything to go by, we recommend getting in while you can.
