We’re fans of KOYN Japanese (upstairs here), and of Samyukta Nair (who owns both KOYNS), and we also like the subterranean lacquered, dimly lit, atmospheric space of KOYN Thai, so it’s unsurprising that we like it here.
Go here for
An excellent menu of authentic Thai faves including the Tableside Larb (hot chicken or beef salads with herbs, powders, lime juice and fish sauce made at the table); specials like the jumbo tiger prawn with panang curry, kaffir leaves and the whole crispy sea bass; curries, stir fries, noodles and rice, tom yum soups, and interesting desserts like nut brittles and mango sticky rice.
To note
They have a variety of menus – tasting, lunch, early evening – and a bar that also serves Japanese snacks. They really are making the most of their space here.
