Let’s start with the fun additions. The Dorchester is opening a restaurant on their roof, hooray! There will be pop-ups (starting with their own Tom Booton), heaters and blankets, great Hyde Park views complete with sunsets aplenty, DJs/live music sets, and, of course, that five-star Dorchester service.
Continuing on the success of their garden, The Berkeley is launching Beach Huts, celebrating British seaside towns. We’ll be there for the ‘Gourmet 99’, a.k.a. soft serves.
Over at the Savoy, they’re turning their Court into a glamorous outdoor pop up, Solas, which will be there until 21 June and boasts a raw seafood bar and stand out chandelier.
And for some classic white tablecloth glory (this is what we’re craving), we’ll be at LPM’s new terrace and at Scott’s, where their Mount Street façade has received an injection of optimistic sunshine by way of a new installation: a collab with Perrier-Jouët that includes yellow flowers, trees, and décor touches – it looks amazing, go!
