The Lowdown
This is Nobu’s first hotel in Mexico (and third restaurant), located on the southernmost tip of the Baja Peninsula. Mexican materials meet Japanese design to make this one slick abode – think sparkly sapphire water views for days.

Nobu isn’t messing around! Founded by Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro and Meir Teper, they’re choosing ‘lifestyle’ destinations, and creating an oasis of calm with excellent cuisine everywhere they go. Their expansion plan is aggressive, with Barcelona and Chicago also set to open this year, and Warsaw and London, Portman Square (W1) in 2020.
