Sharmadean Reid MBE’s WAH Nails is so much more than a nail bar, but it’s a good place to start. Existing as a zine and burgeoning feminist community (power lunches included) before becoming a nail salon in Dalston, Reid’s WAH brand gained cult status for its unapologetic approach to beauty. Now based in Soho, go for a manicure, sure, but stay for the feel-good vibe Reid has managed to instill across the brand; it’s infectious.
