El Bigote
Eccentric dining at cult Ibiza restaurant
So popular that apparently the King of Spain was turned away because he didn’t have a reservation. There’s no phone, so you have to drive there to reserve a table, and they only serve one dish – bullit de peix (fish cooked in saffron with potatoes) and rice cooked in the fish broth. El Bigote is usually around, too. Ask to take his photo and we’re sure he’ll put on a show. Definitely worth the trek – UJ loves this spot!
Top Tip:
Book at the beginning or end of season to get a same day reservation. You can always try a walk-in, too. Unlikely, but on our last visit, we got lucky.
