If basking bare in the sunshine is your thing, Es Cavallet in the south is the best option. As well as being awash with naturists, it’s also favoured by Ibiza’s gay visitors, most of whom you’ll find congregated around the south end and propping up Chiringay with a cocktail come sundown. The trip through the Las Salinas salt flats to reach it is almost as picturesque as the long beach itself, whilst a hike over the surrounding sand dunes will work up an appetite before hitting one of the chiringuitos alongside.

Top Tip:
We think the chicest spot on the strip is El Chiringuito (say hi to Jonathan and his charming wife Olivia) with its daybeds right on the sand. Or, for Spanish all year round, La Escollera is a good call too.
