VIP concierge founder Serena Cook gives up her best kept Ibiza secrets

What’s your favourite restaurant in Ibiza and why?

Es Torrent does the best fish in the Balearics. The John Dory baked in the oven is to die for and with its own private beach it is an exquisite destination for the archetypal rosé lunch.

Top cocktail/drink in Ibiza and where is it served?
Espresso Martini by Chris Edwards at Aura because I need a delicious pick-me-up!

Do you have an island secret that you don’t really want to share with our readers?
Cala D’En Serra’s crystal waters with no mobile service so I can be totally undisturbed!

If you were to buy one thing in Ibiza to bring home what would it be?
Outstanding 100 Ibiza – a coffee table tome that I edited with the 100 best things about Ibiza.

What’s your favourite thing to do on a day off?
Boat trip to Formentera – heaven!

Who is on your speed dial?
Every single VIP nightclub manager so I can always get my clients a table.

Your favourite club/night and why?
DC10 because it is cutting edge cool with the best music on the island and the funkiest hippest crowd.

Most magical place on the island for you?
The North. The island is changing but the North retains its bohemian charm which is why we all fell in love with Ibiza in the first place.

Favourite area to rent a villa in Ibiza and why?
For me it’s the centre of the island, so you can be close to everything but also retreat to a secluded paradise.

What do you do to treat yourself after a hard week?
I have a two-hour massage from Kim – she has healing hands!

What can’t you live without?
My team! They know the insiders’ secrets, are professional and informed but also my friends who I could not do without.

Your top sunset spot?
Cap d’Es Falcó watching the sun set behind Es Vedra over crystal waters.

And favourite beach?
Aguas Blancas for waves, and mojitos!

Tell us what are you excited about this summer?
Ushuaia bringing a new dimension to a clubbers hotel and to the beachside party.

Do you have a top insider tip for our readers?
Anything goes in Ibiza! There is no right place to be and everything is on offer. Get DSI to advise!
