It's gonna be a hard day's night down at Abbey Road this weekend; the inaugural Abbey Road Film Festival launches tomorrow. The brainchild of Abbey Road MD, Dave Holley, it's a fortnight season of studio-scored films. |

The Studio's never been open to the public, so get your day tripper kit on down to Studio 2, breathe that Radiohead/Pink Floyd air - checkout the musical archive documentary exhibition. In Studio 1, you can please-please-me with films including Raiders of the Lost Ark, The English Patient and Lord of the Rings. Want to hold her hand? Take her to Thursday night's Aliens, introduced by New Yorker film critic, Anthony Lane. April 2 sees a Cast & Crew screening of A Hard Day's Night, followed by a Q&A chaired by Martin Lewis (the film's DVD producer), castmembers John Junkin and Victor Spinetti, and Roy Benson (Editor of Magical Mystery Tour). And top of the pops? Sunday April 3 you need to get your ticket to ride down to NW8 for an extremely rare public screen of a Yellow Submarine.
