Showing off TW10-style

Life is indeed a Cubaret. And no that's not a spelling mistake it's a new Cuban themed night at Floridita.

Although an obligatory cigar will be included, the Monday and Tuesday night fandango will offer much more than oversized cancer sticks, with an emphasis on dance and dinner. And a complimentary glass of champagne.

Proving Ms Estefan's theory that the rhythm is in fact going to get you, a professional Latin dance couple will provide a bit of Rumba, Brazilian Samba, Salsa, and the Cha Cha, to get you through the week till Strictly Dance Fever. But the main course, as it were, is the food.

The £50 five-course menu offers a tempting array of Latin inspired dishes including cream of sweet corn bisque with tiger prawns and cilantro butter, courtesy of Executive Chef, Andrew Rose.

Or you could push the gravy boat out and indulge in the £90 menu, which includes specially selected wines from Chile, Argentina, France and Portugal. Whose consumption should encourage you to - again in the words of Gloria - 'get on your feet'.

So you'd better dust off your Cuban heels just in case.

CUBAret at Floridita: Mon & Tues from 7.00pm, with the show commencing at 7.30pm. To book contact Phil Nankivel or Kate Parsons on 020 7314 4000.
* And watch this space for their soon-to-be launched dance classes
