You could rely on The George and Dragon for two things:
1. A playlist of shameful aural pleasures
2. That it would be fuller than Michelle McManus' figure

And now you can experience a night out at East London's most 'ironic' bar at the ICA

Golf Sale at The G & D cemented the pub's role as the Sunday night drinking haunt for the fashion industry, but alas, the owners decided to kill it off before all and sundry descended. A wise move perhaps, but now even more people can visit it thanks to its inclusion in the ICA's 'London in Six Easy Steps' exhibition, which will see six curators present their interpretation of the current artistic and cultural life of London.

As part of the exhibition, 'The George and Dragon Public House' replicates the original interior and atmosphere of the East End boozer - and aims to re-create the G & D experience. Patrons can relax, have a beer (or tequila slammer), gawk at the celebrity barstaff (wonder who they'll drag out for the occasion) and enjoy performances (bad table dancing?) and a guacamole-making session (ironic, or educational?).

Will definitely be interesting to see what type of 'experience' is re-created when patrons are trainer wearing tourists instead of high maintenance queens.
