What is it with the gays?

Any bloody excuse to get naked with a bunch of strangers. From saunas, swimming groups to, er, gay clubs, there's a plethora of places to de-clad and meet new 'friends'.

And now there's another excuse, with the latest NY export, 'Hot Nude Yoga'.

Yoga is still big news, and riding this zeitgeist is qualified Ashtanga Yoga teacher, Aaron Star. After having New Yorkers, um, bend over themselves to attend his classes since 2001, he's now bringing his Hot Nude Yoga workshop to London from today until Sunday.

The weekend will involve various sessions, including Tantra (Sting and Trudy's fave), Kundalini/Shakti (designed to 'unlock your creative and sexual energy') and, of course, Contact Yoga (use your imagination). And before you ask, you have to be nude and participate - this is not a spectator sport.

And while you sceptically calculate those elements together - touch, sexuality, coupling, naked - it should be stressed that the workshop is designed to 'promote harmony in yourself and others'.

So, for those interested in more primal acts, may I suggest a bottle of Bacardi and a Twister mat!
