Sunday Service
Jelly. Black.

A roast, a blanket, the best of Antiques Roadshow and a sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach. Maybe a phone call to your Mum. Let's face it, Sunday nights aren't exactly thrilling.

Pubs shut early as an ode to prehistoric laws and even member's bars send their clientele home for the duration. But following in Golf Sale and Family's footsteps (to name a few), Blackjelly is changing that.

Started by a couple of senior barmen who met working at Soho House and
saw a gap in the market (where do the pretty/deep pocket people go when the private clubs are shut?), Blackjelly is their own Sunday night foray.

Although their parties were started on a strictly need-to-know basis, they are now open to all (unlike Soho House), so there's no selection committee or annual fees and they seem to involve genuine fun, too.

This Sunday, they're hosting a masquerade party - complete with a unique mix of live music - in a classy nod to All Hallows' Eve. Masks are obligatory so you'll have to look really carefully to pick out the troops of slebs and media moguls that have become a staple of their following (it wouldn't be a pseudo-member's bar without 'em!).

So go on, add another night to your weekend.

Blackjelly's All Hallows' Eve Masquerade
