I'm feeling a real 80s moment right now. BOO to tailored wares in whites and stripes. It's never felt more right to reach for neons and studs. |

Which is probably why the vintage Swatch shop at this year's Alternative Fashion Week has hit quite a chord. Think back - what was your first Swatch? (I remember mine well: all peach and baby blue with flamingos, of course.) Remember how we used to wear them? Piled up the arm, with interlocking gummy bracelets floating around in-between? Well, you may not be able to find your first Swatch on the high street (believe me I've tried), but if you want to see if it made the grade to this limited edition shop, it could be well worth the trip. And as for other 80s bits, may we also recommend Adidas' new shell tops with customising felts, charm anything (belts, necklaces), oversized shades, multi-zip jeans (you know the ones), and Ts with iron-on appliqués. What? You think you'll look like an ass? Well, join the club. But at least we'll be having a bit of fun.
