Nights are normally so sporadic and far flung (Hackney, anyone?) that we're thrilled to announce the launch of the Play Room, which will replace the ghastly Ten Room and revive Air Street's fortunes (RIP Chinawhite), while giving non-Eastenders a chance to kick back and revel in old school glamour. Smoky interiors embrace hot pink chaises longues, animal prints, mirrored walls and antique chandeliers, while entertainment from the foot-lit stage ranges from vintage to contemporary cabaret, with stand up comedy and live music en route. Modern Times, Medium Rare, Cultural Vortex, Ruby Venezuala and Venus Mantrap will feature among those in attendance, and draw a crowd that's more nipple tassels and forties flicks than silicone and permatans.
