Anyone remember when going
out used to be a pretty simple affair? |

All good fun at the time, but pretty regimented don't you think? Of course, things have improved in recent years with the food-music-clubbing revolution inspired by some of the more louche Shoreditch venues in the late 90s proving that you really could spend a whole night under one roof. Yet it is a mark of today's multi-tasking society that you can now actually fit a whole weeks worth of activities into just one evening. Pin-Up (tonight) at Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes promises live music from Sean Rowley, DJs, bowling, karaoke, cinema and pool, while the ubiquitous Lost Vagueness adds a dose of circus, cabaret and casino to proceedings via its Lost Spice event at the Hackney Empire on Friday. And if you're not worn out by that lot make time for Cream Revue (Saturday) at the super-hip Bethnal Green Working Men's Club whose attractions include ice cream cocktails and a beauty and tattoo bar in addition to a live music and DJ soundtrack. So, step to-it multi-taskers. Now you really can have it all.
