Whilst I personally subscribe to the opinion that a round of golf is a good way to ruin a nice walk, it's undoubtedly got its fans, and has even achieved a dubious 'cool' is some circles. |

London is not the ideal spot to tee off, although there are some unusual options. This week you can practice your putting - and win a million dollars while you're at it - right bang in The City at the Dunhill Million Dollar Putt in Broadgate Arena. The top two scores each day this week, will then compete in a grand final on Friday, when a single putt could win you (alright, your chosen charity) a cool $1m. You can chart your personal ranking on the live scoreboard and video feed on milliondollarputt.com, so you can return to the green should your score be trumped by lunch time. Or you could have a go at virtual golf at Wandsworth Indoor Golf Club where you whack real balls at images of one of 38 simulated courses, as well as a simulated driving range. Does that make this a good way to ruin a nice day standing still?
