The current free newspaper battle is a bit like watching a bunch of drunks fighting outside a pub - you wish they could all land the killer punch simultaneously. |

Despite the splurge of dirge that's being thrust into our hands each day, there is a rather tasty free alternative for the lucky few called LITRO. It contains an original short story and is distributed outside selected tube stations each and every Friday. If you're not in the right place/right time you can also download these stories to while away office boredom or, better still, print one out and read it on the way home. You can also pick LITRO up in random East End bars/cafes,
not to mention Durham and Sheffield - places where I imagine you need
a little fiction in your life. |

The people behind LITRO are looking to widen distribution, so if you can spare half an hour on Friday mornings, or you just print a few out for your mates to save them from thelondonlowstandardmetro, then you're doing your fellow Londoners a favour. LITRO - Original
fiction for the Underground |
