How's your bank holiday weekend shaping up? Lie-ins with the papers, followed by a mild stroll around the parks, then a nice glass of rosé whilst watching Property Ladder on More4? Again? |

Inject some heady thrills into your three-day relaxathon. This Saturday sees Slaang's second in a four-part instalment of secret location parties around London. Last month's sold-out night in Shoreditch was a roaring success, leaving punters dancing until the late hours of the morning. The antithesis of typical superclubs, Slaang is all about bare spaces and locations are only announced one week before the date. These no frills, warehouse-style venues are a welcomed change from the habitual set of shoddily pimped-out bars, desperately trying to sell us their awkward take on edgy decor. Tomorrow's do will be at the London Bridge Warehouse, a vast and tunnelling space that homed the first Kult of ISSST party over Easter. We've read all there is to read about New Rave and, from what we can
make out, it's nothing more than a blend of dance and indie. With glow
sticks. Slaang's sound is more of a skilled and versatile mix of everything
from rock to electro pop. Post Rave, if you will. |

So don't let the 'rebirth of acid house' clichés put you off, Slaang simply takes clubbing back to where it should be: fun. Besides, Sarah Beeney sounds all the more efficient with a hangover. SLAANG 2
