Probably, then, the perfect time to sample one of several fashionable summer Indian menus currently pimping their perfectly-formed arses round town. Banish hangover fantasies of kashmirs and vindaloos at the new-ish Sitaaray which might boast an 'all-you-can-eat' policy, but dodgy curryhouse this is not: think tiny pieces of velvety salmon with dill, tender chicken marinated in beetroot, the fleshiest king prawns chargrilled with garlic. Heck, you can even wash it down with rosé if you like. Not to be outdone, over in Mayfair the cliché-free Chor Bizarre
are offering sharing platters of gastro delights from across India called
'Thali', or, if you want a lighter snack, Tak-a-Tak street food (chicken
livers, mussels with chillis) at around the fiver mark. |

And later this summer, should you find yourself dragged to the Dome, or whatever they're calling it now, you could do worse than chowing down on a bit of tandoori lobster at the swanky-sounding Raan.
