If you are partial to the early '70s sound of roots reggae, this should be an essential summer album. |

Put together by Mike Pelanconi the producer of Lily Allen's 'Alright Still', the project originally came together as Prince Fatty from a commission by the Stussy clothing label. It has morphed into mini-super group featuring afrobeat saxophonist Bukky Leo, drummer Style Scott from the Roots Radics, Nostalgia 77's horn section, and Hammond organ by Bubblers from Ruff Cut Band. Guest vocals come from The Slits' Hollie Cook, Winston Francis and
a familiar voice in reggae music Little Roy who worked with esteemed
figures such as Lee Perry, Jackie Mittoo and Prince Buster. |

If that doesn't mean a lot to you, don't worry. All you need to know that this is an instantly accessible, easy-going clutch of sweet organ-driven rock steady, dub, ska and lover's rock tunes. It's not going to change the world but it will certainly make a bright sunny day even brighter. Prince
